Meshkin is located in the Persian Azerbaijan in North West Iran. The durable rugs, made with the Turkish knot often are realized with Caucasian designs of the neighboring Caucasian area. The pile is relatively high, therefore Meshkin rugs turn out to be heavier. Altogether a beautiful long term investment.
